Women's Tennis Shuts Out Adelphi
BLOOMSBURG-- The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 win over Adelphi University on Sunday.
The Huskies won the three doubles matches with ease with Laura Sullivan (Dingman's Ferry/Delaware Valley) and Andrea Malatesta (Berwick/Berwick) winning 8-2. In singles play, Katie Hasyn (Lansdale/North Penn) won her match at number one by scores of 6-4, 6-2, while Alison Carney (Muncy/Warrior Run) won at number two, 6-2, 6-1.
Bloomsburg goes to 9-3 and will host Kutztown on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
